Right now, February here in the San Francisco Bay area it is a good time for blooming orchids. It seems lots of orchids bloom in this period and many are getting ready to show themselves for judging at the Pacific Orchid Exposition coming up at the end of February. Here in the house we have Phals in spike and a lovely little fragrant Oncidium ornithorynchum is in full and glorious flower. And outside the Cymbidiums are just about to open. So that is what is cooking here!
